  • The first few minutes of our presentations are the most important. We want to ensure we are talking about what our listeners care about. We can share what we want them to learn or understand. It is important for us to set expectations from the beginning.
  • How we say something to one group is not the same as how we would say something to another group. We need to tailor our messaging to our audiences.
  • Having a clear structure is the best way to ensure the audience understands our logic and thinking.
